Camden Store

Our store in Camden has a magical quality. There is something Tardis-like about it! From the outside it looks like a relatively small local bike shop. The front part of the shop has frames and wheels hanging from every spare hook on the ceiling and feels like a traditional bicycle shop where you feel confident that they will have the special widget that you have been searching everywhere for. However, step further inside and you soon realise that you are entering an Aladdin's Cave.

Crammed with the latest glittering bicycles for commuting, mountain biking, road biking and BMX all contained within the biggest bike showroom in North London. We have over 300 bikes on the premises from all the best manufacturers displayed in the massive showroom at the back of the store.

If you're looking for the most comprehensive bike shop in North London there is no need to look further than CycleSurgery Camden.

Customer Testimonials

"I just wanted to write and compliment your staff. I recently bought a Specialized Roubaix from you, and from day one everyone in the shop was helpful, cheery, full of advice and, most importantly, professional.

It seemed to me that they hold a genuine love for bikes, and each of them expressed pros and cons about the purchase I was making as if they were going to buy the bike themselves. Mark, Phil and Rich all stood out with great advice on geometry, frame size and potential upgrades, and all seemed content to sell the right thing rather than just sell. In this climate, that is a great asset to hold onto.

One thing that stood out in particular was the appreciation that this is not an everyday purchase, and that I needed time to think. This actually was a deciding factor in buying the bike against other similar frames which I test rode - the fact that the guys in the shop did not hurry me into a purchase.

If the post-sales support matches the pre-sales level, then this branch is an exceptionally well run shop, and compliments to all putting the effort in."

"I thought I would just take the time to send you an email in praise of your excellent staff. I encountered this when I recently got knocked off my bike by a bus. I am the first to admit that I don't know much about my bike, so I took it into [another cycle shop] for a bit of advice on what was broken and how long it would take to fix. Their quote was £18 for three broken spokes, which bemused me as the back wheel was, even to my amateur eyes, completely warped.

I then toddled down to Cycle Surgery Camden, where the boys were happy to give me advice and a quote. They were also happy to store the broken bike until other plans could be made. Above all they were helpful and polite, and a credit to your company. They also pointed out the true damage to my bike, which was, as I suspected, a little more than a couple of broken spokes (in fact two new wheels and almost £250 for the bus company to pay!).

Although the boys are not doing the repairs (I live on the other side of town so I have taken it into the City branch), they are completely intrinsic to making me a Cycle Surgery customer, and from here on out I can safely say I won't be going to [the other cycle shop] again.

Anyway, thanks for the great customer experience.

Best wishes,"

"I just want to send my sincere thanks and commendation for the excellent after-sales service you, at Cycle Surgery Camden, provided me by going to extraordinary lengths to release my tampered-with lock at St. Pancras on Saturday.

I am very grateful that you were so supportive and "rescued" my bike."

"You recently gave my ten year old Brompton a fantastic service and its hard to describe but it feels smooth and fast. Thank you Mat."

"I should very much like to put on record how delighted I was with the service proffered to me by Steve in Cycle Surgery's Chalk Farm Road shop.

As a completely inexperienced cycling beginner, I found it invaluable to be able to consult with Steve on what oil I needed for the chain on my old bicycle. He fielded my 'twenty questions' and arguments over that one little item with great patience, and knowledgeably.

During my visit I committed a thoughtless error; it's the kindness with which Steve showed me how to balance the event that has elicited this e-mail."
