Highbury Store

Our roots remain in this bustling part of London and from humble beginnings a thriving business has grown. The very first CycleSurgery started in a basement just round the corner from the current shop.

Our current Highbury location offers over 200 bikes to choose from, clothing, full workshop and all the accessories you could desire.

The Store Manager, Dave, loves the variety of customers that he gets to meet:

"Our location at the start of the A1 means that as well as local customers we occasionally see people who are on their way back up North. I never imagined that I would be a local London bike shop that caters to the North of England and Scotland."

Our workshop forms the focal point for the shop as a cycle route runs past the front door. Although this store is still very much a local bike shop, we are able to offer the kind of specialist equipment that very few stores of this size can offer. So whether you need a puncture fixed or a full service on your Downhill Racing rig, our Highbury shop will happily help you out.

Customer Testimonials

"I bought a Mezzo folding bike from your shop about 8 weeks ago.I was disturbed to hear a nasty creaking noise from one of the pedals that started a few days ago. So I rang up your shop and arranged to bring the bike in to be looked at. I came in at around 5.30pm on Wednesday 4th and described the problem to Dave. He was extremely helpful and immediately identified that the pedal was looser than he thought it should have been. He located two new pedals, replaced the suspect pedal and gave me the other pedal as a reserve. There were no quibbles and no dramas, just a swift resolution to my issue. I am very impressed and will recommend your shop to my friends and family."

"Hey fella's, just wanted to say cheers for taking the time to help me out with my alignment / tracking / wonky arms issue this morning… really appreciate it."

N Stocker, 7th April 2011

"I just wanted to send you an email to thank you for the service I recently received in your shop. I came in a couple of weeks back on a Thursday(24/3) to look at and possibly purchase a bike, and I was massively helped initially by a woman (I think her name was Nancy Jane) who helped me pick out something ideal for my needs, a Specialized Sirrus, and organised for one to be built for me to test on the following Saturday. When I came in on the Saturday(26/3), I was served mainly by Reggie who was as brilliant, helped me set it up, answered all my questions and really helped me, and the other guys in the shop were just as helpful. Having used it for just over a week now every day on my commute, I'm absolutely thrilled with the bike, and the service I got at your store. If you could pass on my thanks to them, I would massively appreciate it. I have recommended your store to pretty much everyone I know, and will definitely continue to use it as my experience, and what I've witnessed with how your other staff have dealt with other customers, has been brilliant."

Mr M Emin, 5th April 2011

"I have used the Holloway store many times and always had great service. On the 17th June, they were particularly helpful in solving a problem which involved completing the sale a while after closing. I think the salesperson was Dave. People are always quick to complain and I think it’s just as important to give positive feedback."
