King's Cross Store

We are the store for all your biking needs. From feeling the freedom of cycling to and from work, taking a holiday and discovering the undiscovered or exploring your physical and mental limits during competitions.

King's Cross Bike Shop - Cyclesurgery

The CycleSurgery sports store, where performance matters. We are aiming to become the Triathlon destination for Central London. We have the kit to get you to your maximum speed; from triathlon specific clothing and aero bars to custom fitting you to your bike, so you can be more powerful, faster and fresher for the run.

Our partner store, Runners Need has full video gait analysis to put you in the right shoes helping you remain injury free, no matter how hard you train. We are working closely with www.bikefitting.com and can easily measure you and put you in the optimum position on a new bike or on your existing bike. Please drop in or call to make a booking to be measured.

Tom, the store manager, is a super keen Triathlete.

"I started my triathlons on a mountain bike with slicks and have progressed from sprint distance to Ironman over the last six years. I have been through a fair few miles and have experienced a range of comfort issues whilst cycling and running. I would advise any customer who is uncomfortable when running or cycling to visit us for a discussion about comfort.

I found that an uncomfortable bike eroded my will power to maintain a consistent training program, which I believe is the most critical aspect of improving performance. I have been through a range of products and know how and what equipment will make you faster - whatever your budget.

Ensuring that your body is in the optimum power position is the best place to start, which is a service that we can exclusively offer at my store. We are here to offer help and advice for any questions you may have from taking the plunge and doing your first tri, to how to go further or faster next time."

Tom has raced in the following events this summer:-

  • Steelman Olympic Tri, Dorney Lake, 2hrs 20 mins
  • Nottingham Outlaw Triathlon (Iron distance), 11hrs 47mins

If you would like any advice or just to chat about riding whether in a triathlon, sportive or to and from work please give Tom a call or pop in to our King's Cross store

Customer Testimonials

"Dear Tom,

I just wanted to give some positive feedback on the service I received in your store on Saturday. The staff member I dealt with was Ben Fordree and he could not have been more helpful in helping me decide which bike to get through cycle scheme. I had already decided on a Brompton due to space limitations but he took the time to talk through each option and talk me through the various features of the models as well as how the cycle scheme works and what the next steps would be. He was really helpful and flexible when I was dithering over colours too. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the service I received was excellent.

I have to say all of the staff I heard dealing with customers were great but I wanted to highlight Ben as he was so excellent.

Kind Regards"

"I just popped in to pick up my bike and wanted to drop an email to say you've got a very satisfied customer. The service I received when I brought my bike in and when I picked it up was fantastic and you fixed it really quickly and cheaply - altogether brilliant, thanks a lot."

Sian, 12th April 2011

"I am so glad that your staff appreciated my need for my bike to be functioning today. I didn't push for my bike to be fixed straight away, they just realised what it meant to me and really helped me out. I fully expected to be sitting on a bus, lid in hand looking like a muppet in my cycling kit. Instead of that I finished the day getting a 2011 PB for a lap of Richmond Park and feeling well chuffed."
