Andy heads up Cycle Surgery. A Cytech Qualified Mechanic, he is constantly researching and finding out what is the latest and greatest gear on the market. Andy has lived and cycled in some of the best MTBing locations in the world including Canada, New Zealand, France and UK. The high adrenaline trails are perfect testing bed for products and he loves to share his experiences to ensure you get the right gear.
Michal has previously worked in various London CycleSurgery stores and has a wealth of commuter and road knowledge that he loves to share with anyone and everyone! He’s also worked as a bike courier in London.
Adam has been a bike mechanic for over 7 years and is Cytech 2 Certified. He grew up in the BMX and Trials scene in Manchester and is now into DH and Trail riding. He makes sure he's up to date with the latest tech and can fix pretty much anything with 2 wheels.
Our fully equipped workshop is available all year round with the fastest repair turnaround in the area. 99% of the time your bike will be ready same day, or in some cases, while you wait. This does not mean we compromise on quality. We just know bikes!

Our Workshop mechanics are Cytec qualified which is the benchmark for quality service in our industry. Our workshop has all the necessary tools and parts to get your bike fixed up and back on the road, usually with same day service. If the repair requires a specialist part then we can special order it in for you and book your repair as soon as it arrives. Our workshop team are happy to answer customer enquiries and give good honest advice to help you decide what level of service your bike needs.
In order to give you a transparent overview of pricing for all activities carried out in our workshops, we have listed approximate costs below. All prices serve only as a guideline and can vary depending on the age, condition and type of bike. There is a minimum labour charge of £10. We will always happily give you an approximate quote for any jobs not listed below. All parts are charged separately.
Please note: There will be an additional labour charge for fitting new parts and accessories, e.g. Brake blocks, cables, chain etc.

Bike Storage Costs
We have very limited space for bike storage and would therefore ask that customers collect their bike on the day of repair. We are forced to charge a bike storage supplement of £10 per day, calculated from the day of repair to the day of collection.

Friends of Cycle Surgery Manchester
Farmer Johns is a set of Downhill and Dirt Jump trails in Marple Bridge, Stockport. Dug by passionate locals who love riding bikes and having a good time! Since 2008 it has hosted its annual race weekend in September with a Saturday night race, DJ, camping and a downhill race on the Sunday. It also hosts photo shoots and other events and is growing in popularity year on year. Cycle Surgery are proud to be associated with it since the very first event.
