"I just wanted to say a really big thank you and how proud you should feel in having the quality of people that work in the store especially Oli.

I passed by on Sunday afternoon just by chance, and asked some questions about getting a new road bike. Oli was more than helpful, after explaining to him that the last time I was serious about cycling was 10 years ago, he explained everything I should know about how the bike and accessories have changed and what will be the proper option for getting the new bike. He even recommended that if I could increase my budget just by a little I will have a really proper bike, envy of any semi-pro/pro!

Tim, in the end I decided to follow Oli's advice and went for the Cube Agree GTC. Oh boy how this baby flies on the road! I had the chance to try this on a hill and Oli was right, this bike is so light and so well constructed that you don't need to worry about anything, just focus on pedalling.

Even all the accessories I got were of supreme quality and usability. I've made a really big investment with the bike and accessories but I don't regret a thing, they're superb!

Now, I just need to continue training and preparing for the hills in Nice where I'm taking the Agree for a 12 day tour of Cote d'Azur which I'm sure the Agree is going to pass and not let me down.

My congratulations to Oli for being such a good professional. In the next few months I'm taking one of my best friends to buy his road bike and I will be the first to direct any person to see Oli about any query or general question.

"I wanted to report a very positive customer experience at your Moorgate Branch with Eamonn. Having been an obsessive cyclist many years ago and now returned to the sport only to find that bikes have entirely changed in the last 15 years, I had been looking for months for some very specific guidance about the new geometries and groupsets, and for the right bike to get me back on the road. Eamonn took pains to really look after me, making sure I understood all the options in detail. He gave me plenty of time to test the bikes and in the end I was delighted with my purchase, which I finally rode home today. It was a delight to receive assistance from a guy who really knows his bikes and genuinely seems to be doing the job out of passion. I should note that this was very clearly not the case for the staff at some of your larger competitors. Without being even the slightest bit pushy, Eamonn ensured I was delighted with the sale and I still ended up spending £200 above my budget. I left with a Specialized Secteur Elite with all the trimmings, and am a very happy customer. I wanted to pass on the positive feedback... if only other shopping experiences were this enjoyable!"

The store's manager, Tim, has been even more than excellent, sharing his knowledge, of which he clearly has a lot, and for sharing his time, and never making me feel like I was taking too much of it, when I'm sure I was! "I just wanted to say what an outstanding service your guys in the Moorgate Branch have given me recently. I'm an absolute racing bike fanatic and recently purchased a £2800 Trek Madone 5.2 from Moorgate. Your sales assistants, Hal and Tim, have just been way above any level of service I have ever experienced in any retail or enthusiast environment. They are just so enthusiastic and really pro-active, sourcing parts for me and helping me get the best from my bike. Their sheer enthusiasm is infectious and everything from bike fitting, wheel advice, accessory sourcing and just general bike chit chat is just exemplary.

It's no surprise that Cycle Surgery is such a corporate success story with guys like this running your branches. They offer a really warm, friendly, personable approach to their work and I simply cannot thank them enough for the service they have afforded me. As a PR man in the Finance industry I know just how much it means to a corporate reputation to have people on the ground being on message. "I live just around the corner in the Barbican. I'm in the process of building up a 90's steel frame Rossin racer and a 1978 ladies roadster for the first time, and generally turn up on my cheap and destroyed many years old Trek hybrid commuter. Despite this, your guys at the store have been really amazingly friendly; I've had great support when I've just wanted to get in and out and buy something and when you've been less busy, Oli in particular has spent time chatting with me and my girl about our builds, what parts might be right, what you have in stock, and what we can order.

Despite having great places nearby, I have, as a result, bought an enormous number of tools, parts and accessories from you. Yesterday I walked in with my frame freshly powder coated and slung over my shoulder and ended up in another quick chat with the guy on the till, Eamonn, also friendly.

The experiences are really making me reconsider what a chain shop can be like - and when I compare the friendliness and genuine enthusiasm of your staff to those in some of the other places I've been, I keep coming back.
