Customer Testimonials
"I have been dealing with the team at Cycle Surgery Victoria for over a month now, as my last bike was stolen, and I have been so impressed with the customer service. Having initially dealt with [a different cycle retailer], I found their service appalling, with disinterested and unknowledgeable staff, and a lack of choice / stock. I visited [another cycle retailer] once but they were very overpriced. It has been really refreshing to deal with the nice guys at Cycle Surgery. Andy has been helping throughout the process of choosing a new bike and he has been faultless and caring, he was busy last night so Jimmy served me and was really helpful too."

"I'd like to give a big thanks to the store mechanic, Thomas Lukow, for the awesome job he performed today on my hydraulic brakes. Well done!"

"I know people can moan about service in cycle shops but I really want to say that I am impressed with the service I receive at your store. Last week my rear mudguard was rattling on my Pashley Poppy pink bicycle. I brought it into your store and Jimmy, your staff member was really helpful. He arranged for the mechanic to see the bicycle. He kept me up to date with the progress of the repair, explained that it needed a part from Pashley. Today I receive a phone call from Jimmy to say that the part has arrived and that I could come in today for the bicycle to receive that repair.
When I first bought my Pashley (through the employer's Ride to Work) scheme, I had to buy the bicycle from another bike shop. It kept getting punctures and when I visited the bike shop they would only repair the inner tube. The amount I was meant to save on not using public transport was instead being used for a puncture repair fund. In January I visited your store and they replaced both tyres and I haven't had a puncture since.
Jimmy and the rest of your store staff are really helpful which makes a change in this world. Throughout the repair he has provided excellent customer service and treated me like a human rather than another number.
I always recommend your store to my colleagues and friends.
Best wishes,"

"I'd just like to say thanks for the excellent work you did on my bike. It is just over a year old and I didn't think a service was strictly necessary. However, your chaps have worked wonders and the bike is like new again. The service was very friendly and everyone was exceptionally helpful.
Thanks for all your help."

"Thanks once again for your great attention yesterday in kitting out my Pinarello with new pedals. They are great and your advice was really appreciated.
As always, I am really pleased with the level of service you guys at Cycle Surgery Victoria provide compared with the other shops in the area (I won't mention which one). It's a completely different experience. I remember even earlier in the summer I brought my bike in for service before a race and you promptly squeezed me in ample time.
You guys have a great knowledge of cycling and that's why I keep coming back. Keep it up."

"Hi,
Quick note to thank Jimmy (James W 1507) for sourcing a Medium sized Specialized 2D lid, calling to let me know it was in store and then taking the time to fit it properly - top man.
Cheers"

"I just wanted to drop you a quick mail to express my gratitude for the service I have received from Cycle Surgery @ Victoria over the last couple of months.
In April I first came into the store to look for a bike to purchase on the Cycle to Work scheme and little did I know I would be so wonderfully looked after.
Jimmy was the first member of staff I worked with, and to be honest I know ask for him every time I come into the store, he has gone above and beyond in the advice and time he has given. I have no doubt that his service has what has continued to bring me back to the store, my bank balance is suffering but my bike is great!
In a climate where customer loyalty is hard to build, I can say that you all do a wonderful job at building it, I feel very loyal to your store and I look forward to buying another bike with you soon. Many thanks once again for such a pleasant shopping experience."

"Hi guys
Apologies as I wanted to send this a few weeks back. I wanted to say a massive thanks for all your help and extra efforts in what turned out to be a nightmare in getting my bike ready for the Nightrider 2011 charity event. With the parts not turning up from chain reaction I was left running around London on the day of the event picking up all the parts needed. Not getting them to you guys till 3:30pm on that Saturday due to all the obstacles that were being thrown in my way. Closed underground lines, trooping the colour and demonstrations. Bearing in mind the event kicked off at 12 midnight that same day you guys pulled out all the stops and as far as I'm concerned went beyond the call of duty to get the bike ready for me for 6pm. Great work and credit well deserved!
That day for me was definitely a big test of character and although I didn't get the rest I wanted during that day and was quite stressed by it all you guys certainly kept the stress to a manageable level for me and I went on to complete the 65.4 miles in 4 hrs 27 mins.
Again a massive thanks to you guys!! You have a very dedicated and knowledgeable team there at Victoria.
Take care, all the best and I will see you soon!"

"Hi guys,
Just a quick email to say thanks again for the fantastic service I've received at your store recently.
Bought a new Sirrus Elite at the end of May - completely new to spending serious money on a bike but I was given helpful and informative advice at every step. Since then (picking up the bike, returning for its initial service) the staff have been continuously brilliant - including the several occasions when I've rushed into the store with about 5 minutes until closing time.
People are quick enough to complain when things don't go right - I just thought the great service you all provide should be commented upon too. Will be recommending cycle surgery, and particularly your store, to all my friends/colleagues.
Have a great weekend"

"Just a quick note to say a huge 'thank you' for the excellent bike and even better service. I'm really grateful to you. The bike is an awesome ride – I'm juts getting used to it having never been on a mountain bike before. "
George S, 16th May 2011
"Dear Mark and Felix, just wanted to say a very big thank you for all the time you spent with me, on Wednesday afternoon, when I called in to see the Go-Cycle.
You guys were wonderfully patient, kind, helpful and knowledgeable and I enormously appreciated everything you did for me. With many thanks, Martin"
Martin S, 16th May 2011
"On both visits to your store recently, I have been hugely impressed by the service I received - and the huge improvement since I last visited about 6 months ago. The shop was well staffed. I was asked if I wanted help. Staff seemed like they actually wanted to help me, and keenly asked me questions in respectful, plain language to help me figure out what I needed. The tool wasn't in stock, but this didn't stop them from giving me really helpful and thorough advice. It was such a surprise - like I was kind of gobsmacked by how helpful your staff were.
I'll definitely start bringing my bike to you for servicing and I'll come to you first for parts, accessories and tools. And I'll tell my friends and colleagues because yours is the kind of business I'd like to support. Please pass on my thanks to the team. I look forward to returning soon."
Mr D Scott, 31st March 2011
"I just wanted to write and say thank you for the service I received today in your shop. I don't normally bother with this sort of thing but felt that the young bloke [James] that helped me today made a real effort in terms of attention and willingness to offer advice.
At the time I didn't buy anything as the stock was not to hand, however I have ended doing so via your website largely due to the service I received today."
Paul H, 2nd February 2011
"Having visited many cycle shops in London, I have tended to find they treat female customers rather dismissively. It was a pleasure to go into your store this afternoon, all the staff, especially Toby, were extremely pleasant and helpful."
Ms R Hembury, 7th November 2010
"I just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks to the mechanic who serviced my bike (a Trek 8500) yesterday. I am very impressed and it rides better now than it did when I got it!"
Mr M Ostberg, 10th August 2010
