West Hampstead Store
Having been refurbished, CycleSurgery West Hampstead, has the charms and welcome of a local bike shop, with the style and wow factor that you have come to expect!
With a chilled and welcoming atmosphere, why not pop into check out our huge range of stock, whether it's a pump adaptor or a £3000 bike, no request is too big or too small.
We have the small shop feel with all the latest bikes and kit, and without all the dirty bits! Our showroom is spread over two floors, we always have around 175 bikes on the premises, offering a great selection of the top brands - the latest bikes, clothing and kit.
The Manager of the shop (Matthew) explains the joys of West Hampstead:
"Being a local bike shop is all about the service we offer, from fixing a punctured bugaboo; stripping down a high end road bike for the next race, or tinkering with your mountain bike for the next weekend thrash of the heath with your mates, this is a great shop to work in, all the latest products, with that something you just don't get elsewhere. Come and check us out, we've got something for you"
There is a real sense of community in the area as the store is surrounded by cafés, restaurants and the type of local shops that make up a thriving high street - baker, green grocer and a great bookshop next door.
CycleSurgery West Hampstead is the most suburban of the original London CycleSurgerys and has been here since 1999. Over this time the workshop has remained the linchpin of the store, our workshop is staffed by Cytech qualified mechanics, and is open for servicing 5 days a week.
We offer full test ride facilities, a great clothing range and the best range of children's bikes in northwest London. Why not pop in and see us sometime? It may also come in handy to remember that our shop floor guys will do almost anything for cake...
Customer Testimonials
"As an avid road cyclist and racer for over 20 years, I have worked with many bike shops and numerous mechanics. I just wanted you to know that your Team at the West Hampstead Cycle Surgery Store is, by far, the best group of cycling professionals I have ever dealt with.
Martin, the manager, is extremely knowledge, incredibly courteous, and exceptionally thorough. The mechanics, Antonis and Matt, are absolutely top-notch!
Recently, I had two existing bikes built up with the new Dura Ace Di2 transmissions. Given the age of the framesets (they were not Di2 ready), Martin, Antonis and Matt were absolutely amazing making the change-out work. Their technical expertise, amazing resourcefulness, and extreme patience were extraordinary.
As a result, I have been - and will continue to be - referring every cyclist I know to this shop."

"Just wanted to feedback on the service I had for my bike. I picked it up first thing this morning - Thursday - having dropped it off Tuesday evening. In the intervening time Mat (think that's right?), turned my rather tired bike back into something that's a pleasure to ride. Just got to work and felt I had to say thank you for the job. It came in about £10 under what he'd thought it might be, and it really does feel like I've got a new bike.
So - thanks to all at Cycle Surgery West Hampstead"

"Just a quick note in praise of your excellent mechanic. I popped in on the way home from work to ask about a technical issue I have had trouble finding an answer to from 5 other london bike shops. The mechanic was knowledgeable, very helpful and interested in solving the problem. I went away having bought the cassette I needed and some good advice!"

"Thanks for all the great work. Like I've said before it is hard to find good bike mechanics. I usually spend two weeks after I get my bike back from the workshop tuning it and getting it back running smoothly, but not at West Hampstead. With Mat and Antonis in the workshop, everything works smoothly straight from the shop. When I get my bike back from a service it is like having a new bike. Thanks too for building up two bikes for me, the Van Nicholas long-travel hardtail and most recently my singlespeed commuter. I'm loving the commuter right now, breezing my way to work along the canal each morning."
