Creating a trail bike bursting with breakthrough technology and a cutting edge ride style was Scott’s primary intention when designing the Spark range. With 120mm of travel and engineered around the 27.5 inch wheel platform, the Spark 760 is nimble and responsive through tight singletrack, rolls well over technical terrain thanks to the 650b wheel size and conquers the climbs – meaning the Spark 760 gives you an optimised ride at an affordable price point.

Employing adjustable geometry, the bottom bracket height can be affected by 7mm and the head tube angle can be affected by 0.5 degrees creating a truly versatile ride. The Spark 760 also boasts Scott’s IDS SL dropout system which accommodates different dropout standards. The 760 is equipped with a RockShox Silver front fork delivering 120mm of plush travel and an X-fusion Nude shock keeps things under control at the rear. With a Shimano groupset and Syncros componentry, the Scott Spark 760 is an affordable force to be reckoned with out of the trail.

The Spark, Genius and Genius LT employ an adjustable geometry by way of a shock mount chip in the linkage. By changing the shock mount chip--simply removing it and flipping it in either mounting position--you affect the bottom bracket height by 7mm, which also affects the head tube angle by 0.5 degrees.
Interchangeable and lightweight, the IDS-SL dropout system works with 142x12mm, 135x12mm and 135x5mm QR rear axle standards. Shred the turns more aggressively and with enhanced control, thanks to a laterally stiff rear end.
When discussing the pros and cons of the big wheeled bikes, shorter riders find themselves in an ambivalent situation. They want to benefit from the 29 wheels, but suffer from the negative effects when fit is considered. Additionally, the increase in rotational weight challenges many lower watt producing riders, so the performance gains are negated when the rider cannot accelerate the wheel system as quickly. The solution for many riders is 27,5. The new wheelsize standard combines the best of both worlds, 29 and 26.
